Here you can find most of my musical releases, many of which still have physical copies left for sale. Not all the projects I've worked with have had a release, but those which have, are listed below. When listening, be ready for inconsistency in terms of musical genre or vibe.
HAPE - Night Life EP

HAPE's five-song mini-album Night Life will be released on September 4th under the Finnish online label EABE. On the electro EP, 80% of the tracks have been completed in recent years, but the remaining 20%* originate from 2009. HAPE (eng. ACID) is the more rhythmic electronic music project of composer, soundscape designer, and visual artist Taavi Tulev. HAPE has been present since 2007 but despite the project's longevity, Night Life is Tulev's second release under this alias. HAPE has mostly been seen and heard as live performances and production in the studio has been fruitful, but compared to live performances it has been more in the background.

Wochtzchée - Diktüoneemakilt

A deep-ambient album under my pseudonym Wochtzchée. Music inspired by shamanism and dream-like states. The intention was to make music, which would let a listener fall asleep or mentally drift away.

Taavi Tulev – Thunder
A 2-track nature recording album.

In the year 2017, there were a couple of powerful thunderstorms around Vilsandi island. On this album, there are two thunderstorm recordings made with a 10-day difference. The 1st recording was made on the northern coast of the island. Prior to the recording, there was an enormous wind accompanied by heavy rainfall. The recording was made after it stopped raining.
The 2nd recording was made 10 days after, a bit further away in the forest. There was a little thunder heard before the recording started. In the end, it will start to rain a bit and it will intensify.

Side A:
- On the Coast

Side B:
- In the Forest

Taavi Tulev – Beach
A 1-track nature recording album.

We're at Tsitre, a sandy strip of beach in Lahemaa National Park. It's pitch black and dead calm night. You can hear only the lapping waves. The sky is cloud covered, though in time the clouds dissipate to reveal a clear night sky. A giant orange moon sets in the sea.

Listen at the volume of the original, natural environment.

Taavi Tulev / Kristjan Raidna – AB
A 2-track electroacoustic album

Taavi had some ideas about modding his gear and asked Kristjan to lend a hand. One night Kristjan dropped by Taavi’s studio and they ended up spending hours engaged with some serious yet zen soldering work. Afterwards Taavi turned on his synths and Kristjan took out the flute he happened to have with him. The result? Recording #777. A week later #808 came along and a duo was born along with a method for making this album. “AB” is an amalgam of improvised meetups, mixed on the fly to convey music that not only expresses freedom, but is a form of freedom in and of itself. It is chaos creating cosmos.

All organic sounds made by Kristjan Raidna.
